Medicare

Supplement Plans

A Medicare Supplement plan, also called “Medigap,” is a private health insurance policy that you can purchase to help cover out-of-pocket costs that Original Medicare doesn’t pay, like copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles, essentially filling the “gaps” in your Medicare coverage; you must have Original Medicare (Parts A and B) to buy a Medigap plan.

Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage (also known as “Part C”) is a Medicare-approved plan from a private company that offers an alternative to Original Medicare for your health coverage. These “bundled” plans include Part A, Part B, and usually Part D. Plans may offer some extra benefits that Original Medicare doesn’t.

Prescription Drug Plans

Medicare drug coverage (also known as Medicare Part D) helps pay for the brand-name & generic drugs you need. It’s optional and offered to everyone with Medicare by insurance companies & other private companies approved by Medicare. Even if you don’t take prescription drugs now, consider getting Medicare drug coverage to avoid paying a late enrollment penalty if you join a plan later.

Individual, Family & Native Americans

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) is a health care reform law that allows health insurance be more affordable and accessible to more people.

The ACA provides specific provisions for Native Americans (American Indians and Alaska Natives), allowing access to affordable health insurance options with zero & low cost share plans available. Let’s see if you qualify!

Life Insurance, Final Expense & Hospital Indemnity

There’s a variety of life insurance plans, including term-life, whole life, universal life, and final expense policies. Some plans are available without having to answer health questions.

Hospital indemnity insurance is a type of supplemental health insurance that pays cash benefits to the insured person for covered hospital stays. It can help cover costs that your primary health insurance doesn’t, like deductibles, co-pays, and out-of-network care.
